It can range from about fifty to eighty and for the most part and we usually play the games that were in the votes. We ask people to bring their own pc and/or consoles, however since everyone brings games of their own we tend to play other games people can join in on or enjoy. Any game type from any era could likely be there. There are also regular tournaments that we vote on that have prizes that we buy or are given to us by sponsors. There will be soda for sale and a table of free snacks along with a projector (maybe more than one) hooked up. If you have an interest in playing something that you are not sure will be there, put up a post to see if anyone might bring a copy.

TigerLan is in the Exhibit Lounge in the Foy Student Union. It starts at 10am Sat and goes till 11pm Sun technically but most people leave a little early on Sunday for food/home.

I'm hoping we get a better attendance than last time. But having a smaller crowd was cool for once... The first TL I came too had to have had 100 people on SAT alone... it was a big group. But yeah, you really should come and try it out one time... its a good time with fun people. Smile Oh and everyone is required to bring cookies!!!

ok that last part isn't true.... hehe =D

I looked around for votes and polls, but the search function is just there to tease me. Where can I find what's going to be played?

You shall find out soon after the first official Gamers meeting.

If you look at the previous TigerLAN polls you will see games we think would be good for tournaments. Then as the comments are added you see what kind of games people will be bringing. Most of the games we play at TigerLAN are from people bringing there own games and sharing the gaming experience.

Sir, you clearly don't know what old english is. Here's some old english: "Hwæt! wē Gār-Dena in geār-dagum"

That is the really old English, mainly the parts we threw out with the French and Germans. I think the last of it is laying around in a couple poems, and beating each other with foamy sticks in LARP groups.

...There is no such thing as "really old English" Old English is Old English.

Wow you're daft. The King James Bible is NOT Old English. It's Elizabethan numb nuts. Beowulf is Old English NOT "Really Old English". And of course the alcohol has nothing to do with Old English.

Yeah... you're new. You're starting trouble with Bandit. Why do we always do that? Mr. Green

Anyway, calm down brother. I'm an English major, which means I know everything about English. Since English is the dominant language of the world, it means I know everything about the world. Therefore, Bandit's right.

Pissing contest = over! Mr. Green

Don't confuse us with the facts, I've already made up our mind. Smile

Clearly the King James Bible is Old and in English.

When/Where are the meetings, if I can ask here? I went Casual Gear Solid all over that Student Center after 7pm and couldn't find a soul.
Goji_of_the_Squirrel - Aug 27, 2009 - 07:56 PM
Post subject: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Questions about the lan!! First Timer.
Ah, ok. TigerLAN DOES exist, as long as CDplaya is working on it.

Usually it's... well... what, $20 for both days and to gain entrance to the competitions.

And the club meetings are in Haley Center, next to the Student Center. TigerLAN is in the Student Center, but it's a special event. If you've seen somewhere that club meetings are in the Student Center, let us know so we can correct it.

I think cheese is actually a good idea. Like, real cheese. None of this fake talk.
