Game Development - Bomberman + free time = 20+ players Ash - May 06, 2007 - 08:17 PM Post subject: Bomberman + free time = 20+ players
I got the source for the xblast 2.10.0 game, which the developers from source forge haven't updated since like june of 2006...
But, ya its not horrible complicated, just gotta sift through it to find where they do all their network/multi player calls so i figure out where the limit to the number of players comes from.
In their config header file they have it hard coded to only accept 15 player's, but ingame the network games only have 12 player slots thats kinda odd... but i don't have enough computers to fill up all the connections because they might add another few slots if your fill up the inital 12...
ima just dig through the code for a bit, bblfastbilly1 - May 06, 2007 - 09:08 PM Post subject: RE: Bomberman + free time = 20+ players
Shoot for 15 on one pc, that should be enough.lordbyronIII - May 07, 2007 - 04:12 AM Post subject: RE: Bomberman + free time = 20+ players

Any progress or did ruby and wanting to make a cardshop stop this in its tracks?Ash - May 30, 2007 - 06:39 PM Post subject:
its progressing slowly on my end.... I haven't had much spare time recently, between school, work, and then the little lan party i had i really have been to busy to do anything for fun... i haven't even touched my website in a few weeks and i broke it last time i worked on it (on purpose)
Ima start a repository on my website once i smooth it out so people can atleast work off 1 set of source instead of having 5 different versons floating around.lordbyronIII - Jun 09, 2007 - 03:16 PM Post subject:
Once that's up I'll hop in on it.
I've been mega-stressed and on-edge due to work, circumstances beyond my control and a general lack of sleep.
