| Well as usual for us to keep everything running we need people for tournaments, front door and setup. Anyone interested in helping please post here. Compensation of reduced entrance price will be given to those who help support our continued running. Amount will vary if for some extraordinary reason we have numerous volunteers. Also I will be posting tournament times and rules by the end of the week. |

I don't know how many times wc3 has been used as the PC RTS game, but if it would help I could formulate the Rules/Maps/Setup for that tournament. Only if it would be helpful of course. |

I don't plan on playing in the tournaments. I would be happy to run whatever.
Have you guys thought about how you want to do each tournament? Big games? Double Elimination? Single elim? Sleigh? Round Robin? |

| I don't plan on be in any tournaments, so I'd be happy to help out anyway I could, but I'll probably only be in town that Saturday. |

These were my ideas for the 1v1 Wc3 tournament.
General:
-Bracket Style
-Double Elimination
-Each match up best of 3/or best of 1
-Each round have a different starting map
-If played bo3, loser picks next map until series ends
Map Pool-
Echo Isles
Twisted Meadows
Turtle Rock
Terenas Stand
Lost Temple (ROC)
Secret Valley
Gnoll Wood |

I think you may have read the same rules I was considering from WCG...
I have the rules for everything so far except WarioWare and Ridge Racer. Any suggestions for those two, please comment, and I will review ideas this Friday with officers.
Thanks volunteers, we should be setting up the Friday night before (19th) around 8-9pm and Saturday at 10am. It will only take a few to set up; the rest will help front door and competitions. Not sure who will do what yet but good to know we have some trusty companions. |

For Warioware you should play the blue or pink elephant, simply an endurance match. Depending on the amount of people flush out the rest. And if you are playing pink elephant it is a bit of a game.
Ridge Racer should be the same rules as last time, or any arcadey rally game. |

| Let's not turn this into the competition rules thread, please put those suggestions into the existing poll threads or start a new one for competition rules. |

I know, but I still think it's a bad idea. Most people don't read every topic like us ;oP

| Lets just make up rules as we play each tournament. It will make for much more forum content later, as everyone debates how they should have been the winner. |

| Seriously though. It looks like you have a few volunteers willing to run tournaments. But what time can volunteers show up to help setup the building? |

Good question. The last few times we did most of the setup on Friday afternoon or evening, everything but the actual network equipment, computers, money box, and higher value prizes. We tried to put up adverts, arrange tables, prep TVs/projectors, prep power, drop network cables, lay out food, lay out prizes, etc. That way on Saturday morning (09:00 generally) we could meet and put in the remainder, fill the cooler with ice, setup registration, game devices, etc.
No clue if that's the case this time.
Hey DIE, it's Wednesday already... us out of town people could use some info. |

| Well I've booked a hotel. I sure would like to know what time to show up. I it takes me 2.5 hours to get there, and I don't even know the official start time. |
