Post subject: Burger Kings Games
Burger King games were orginally hosted by the current leader of the KOTN scoreboard, then, later, by the officers (we're going to try the first way again). It is usually a quick game, with some special rules, mods, or maps that make it fun and fun, with an emphasis on hilarity and fun. We have a couple of BK games scheduled this semester, check the schedule in the "KOTN overall" thread. Historically, the winner gets a whopper combo coupon and a burger king crown to wear for the rest of the night.

as an inspiration to those of you who have never played in a Burger King Game, I pasting a chat session between me, Lynx, and Bandit (3 of the first club presidents) where we wax nostalgic about some of the best ones.
...
//clip//
Bandit: that was a fun BK game
Stick: I didn't see it
Stick: it sounded great
Lynx: it was awesome, small square with a hill and underneath the hill was a cave.the bee gun was in the middle of the cave with a spot light on it. but if you went into the spotlight, you we're teleported far enough above the hill to give you a rough landing
...
Bandit: this group has never even seen a good bk challenge
Stick: Lynx, any favorites from the ones I did?
Stick: cause I remeber a bunch of them I really liked
Stick: but hard to say if anyone else liked em too
Lynx: hmm, that was a really long time ago
Bandit: minesweeper was hillarious
Stick: that's one of my favorites
//comment: Everyone had 10 minutes to get the best minesweeper score (medium size board). Obviously, if you hit a mine you have no score at all, but if you take too long someone else might get better). Vector won with an incredible <50s. score, noone else even finished.
Bandit: gungho's starcraft map with 100% of the resources in the middle of the map
Lynx: you against the world in descent was fun
Stick: I wondered if you would remember that one
Stick: jesus I laid down some smack on that challenge
Bandit: I hated that one
Stick: I think the highest scorer against me was 3 or something
Stick: were you there bandit?
Bandit: yes
Lynx: X did a variation of that with Quake and a mod that allowed him to morph into the different monsters
Bandit: unfortunatly
Stick: wow!
Bandit: that was neat
Stick: that sounds cool
Bandit: T-bird made a good one
Bandit: it was everyone vs him in a giant castle thing in the middle in age of kings
Bandit: he had like 20 castles and walls
Lynx: I think I did that with the first AoE
Bandit: he modled it after someone's map
Bandit: so I guess that was you
Lynx: I remember making a giant maze map where the whole thing was covered with walls and it brought the lab computers to they're knees
Bandit: we each got 4 peasents or something
Bandit: and we had to find our way through the maze w/o dieing
Stick: awesome
Stick: with tigers?
Bandit: everything
Bandit: elephants, lions, wolves, catapults
Lynx: it was except the computers could barely handle the stress
Stick: wow, a maze in RoN would be fun
Stick: find a good maze from a mag or something
Stick: then trace it in the game
Stick: big huge map
Stick: put everyone in the middle
Bandit: the maze had fog of war
Lynx: X did an AoE where he controlled the animals...so it was like a roman colliseum thing
Bandit: so any maze with fog of war on it is hard
Stick: and they try to reach the only bonus resource on the map
Bandit: you will have to keep peopel from being spanish
Stick: I could control a single offensive guy
Stick: man, that sounds fun!!!!!!
Stick: I';m going to make it, bandit you can test it with me
Bandit: I think when you died you re-spawned back at the begining
Bandit: ok
Bandit: so people like rusty started attacking people near him once he got far enough away
Lynx: another one I did was AoE, no resources, you start with one guy on the edge somewhere, bunch of neutral units scattered around the map. Who ever got close first got control
Bandit: that was interesting too
Bandit: 1st unit I got was a damn elephant
Bandit: others got horses and chariots
Bandit: I think that is about all of them
Stick: Big Red Racing backward
Stick: and the Iinterstate '76 race
Lynx: I did one with starcraft... I think it was like a king of the hill and everyone had units spawn in when they lost stuff
Bandit: completely forgot BRR and the I76 game
Stick: I remember enjoying the I76 game. the losers started taking pot shots at the winners
Bandit: lots of mods for starcraft
Lynx: Gungho's carmageddon big truck game
Bandit: I used to download them test them and then make them bk challenges

Post subject: Atomic Blindman
An idea for a Burger King Challenge:

Atomic Blindman.

Teams of 2, two teams (4 people) to a computer.
on each team there will be one person blindfolded, at the computer. His teammate stands behind.

We play Atomic Bomberman. The "eyes" man tries to tell the "hands" man what to do.

Simple, quick, chaotic, probably loud, and hopefully a lot of fun. That's a Burger King game!

Call of Duty or some other FPS
2 players as 1
One person controls the mouse, the other controls the keyboard.
Regular Deathmatch.
Not a sniper map.
