I have started to get back into the games that will actually run on my laptop. All RTS. I was curious if....
1. There was one game everyone pretty much played.
2. If there was any sort of Auburn team/clan for any games.
I would like to get involved more with AU gamers.. even though I am not brave enough to load any FPS games on my computer I use to practically live at a lan center (New Media Arena) back in Atlanta.
In my opinion, skill wise, I am about middle level. I can take alot of newbs and can hold my own for a bit against the better players. I just have taken to long of a break from gaming. |

Well, that is one of the driving ideas behind the King of the Net games. Check out our forums for more of the details. This weekend is a Rise of Nations tourney, so practice!
Another thing we might do with the KOTN ladders is use them as a culling ground for picking clan members. For example, the top 6 Call of Duty players could practice a little as a clan during the week.
Anyhow, based on the interest in the KOTN games so far (not much) I'm not sure there is interest yet in clans. But, with a little inspiration that could change....

Well the only games on the image i have experiance with are call of duty and worms...
Games like Starcraft, Counter-Strike and possibly Warcraft which aren't on the image I am a bit better at. I really can't prove myself at RoN because I have never played it. This Friday I will look at it a bit more.
edit: If we can get a "bond" outside of Friday's meetings... that might help us work together in certain games. |

Doesn't have to be a FPS... (ex: SC/BW..) |

Not usually. It's the Computer Gaming Club technically but we have been known to occasionally bring a console about. We also have consoles at TigerLAN because it's just a gaming event. |
