Yes we did have some playing TF2 but because of the steam requirement it will likely be just those who own the game. We don't usually play many LAN games using steam because unfortunately not all of our gamers have steam accounts... even though the accounts are free to make. |

I will be playing TF2 at some point during the weekend.
It's been out for more than half a year. It's hard for me to understand why people would want to play cs 1.6 (or even 1.0-1.5 eww) instead of TF2 or even CS:S.
Both CS:S and TF2 are $20 on steam and in stores. That's cheaper than a box copy of any other newer fps (COD4, crysis, etc). If you tell me that you have this cracked copy of cs 1.5, man, and it's awesome and you should totally play, man, I'll tell you to stop being a pirate (at least in regards to video games)
In addition, Valve/Steam's online multiplayer system is the best implemented I've seen.

cs1.2 ftw, sucked after that, except for source. Though honestly, I miss the es_ maps from the later betas, those were fun. </old> |
