Lots of website changes in the works at the moment.
You'll notice random things broken for a while, like file paths, and style sheets, and images, etc. Why? Because Postnuke and PNphpBB suck. They're the type of packages that break when you actually follow the instructions.
So, while I track down all the bugs, have a hopefully spam free time.
Upgrades:
+ Upgrade to Postnuke 0.764
+ Upgrade to PNphpBB2 1.2i
+ Upgrade to PNphpBB2 1.2i-patch1
+ Upgrade to PNphpBB2 1.2i-patch3 (No, there's not a -patch2)
- Apply common.php PNphpBB hack
- Apply viewtopic.php/viewform.php PNphpBB hack
+ Apply Version Check Bug hack
+ Enable mod_rewrite functionality
+ Enable pnRender cache
+ Enable Xanthia cache
+ Enable Postnuke compression
Fixes (mostly to cut down on spam):
~ Hunt down the elusive [working] PN CAPTCHA module
+ Turn off the Comments module (no more comments on news items)
+ Enable new question/answer challenge on new user registration
~ Deleting all non-resolved and suspicious users (all ~800)
~ Banning certain abusive mail domains
+ Enable new framework HTML filters
And we'll see what else.
The downtime was due to a Postnuke 0.750 hole (yet again, I'm about to strangle it), hence the upgrade to the slightly more secure but installation-bug prone 0.764.
Count yourselves lucky that I took two hours out of my time to restore your avatars instead of making you upload them again.
It's chugging along. Themes may be acting funky, logo will be a day or two before it's replaced. May go ahead and take the time to throw together a theme that doesn't suck so bad. Anyone else hate the new forum icons? |

Oh, and hit refresh on your browser if things are weird, it'll probably fix most of the style/graphic/layout issues you see. |

I've been trying to formulate a new theme for a while - maybe I'll finish it in the next few weeks. |

I don't even want anything impressive, I'm just tired of the SeaBreeze colors and details.
It'll still be a three column layout with forums defaulting to maximized, though it would be nice to get the forums skinned just enough to have the logo and quick navigation for the whole site on top... |

Mail module is back up, private messages, email notifications, subscriptions, user registration, and lost password recovery is back up. If you know anyone that has had any of these problems then please inform them of this. |
