This is a great game. The enemy attacks are well coordinated, action commands makes combat a lot more interesting and the story actually makes sense.

Now for the downers, Ashley is a pain to escort around. She dies easly and doesn't seem to understand the concept of running from a 18 foot monster. Also the regnerators are a pain. They WILL NOT DIE!!!! Unless of course you find the infrared scope. (If someone knows the location of said item please tell me. I got past them but it would still be nice to know.)

Yeah, it was back in the first area, where you first find the regenerators. You remember the freezer room where you had to thaw everything to use the key card machine? It was in there.

Who would put a key-card machine in a freezer?

Capcom, apparently. But then again, Capcom also thought that cops would lock their doors using keys with card symbols on them, that a robot's little hand cannon M. Buster was more powerful than a nuclear weapon, and that people actually like Captain Commando. Good times, huh?

Oh wait... wasn't it Resident Evil 2 where the player had to grab stuff out of dirty toilets every minute?

I feel stupid. I didnt want to thaw that room out because it was full of frozen regenerators.

Also, I still believe that the star of Silent Hill 2 was incredably stupid.

Awesome game. I like how you could deck out your guns, and the fact the people were just that people... except they were pretty impervious to bullets, and the chinsaw guys sucked. Then you find out they were all infected with parasites... Thats a lot a work.

Yeah, the impervious to bullets bit made me laugh a bit...but suplexing was always an instant kill, so fun times with that! Supposedly the next Silent Hill game, Silent Hill 0rigins for PSP, will play very similarly.

I taught this was a great installment for the series, but still found fault with the control scheme.
