| Went to see it Friday night. It was fun. Wasn't a great movie, but it was good. It confused my party for some reason. I thought it was straight-forward, a little too much so at times actually. Not sure why they were confused, maybe they aren't used to having to pay attention through the whole thing. |

| And exactly why did they incorporate demons into the movie? From what I remember of the first game, the only one I played, there was no demonic stuff at all. |

Did you see the movie? I've been wondering about that too.
I was hoping it would just be hallucinations and not actually 'Max Payne fights demons lol' |

I didn't get all the way through the game, so I had no idea if the (oddly male) Valkyrie-esqe demons were part of the game or not. They were hallucinations, but they purposely left that open to interpretation with a few ambiguous shots. Whether or not they were hallucinations drastically changes the tone of the movie though.
I do remember some hallucinations in the game I think. |

There were hallucinations in-game, but there were no demons anywhere. At all.
Makes the movie look like a sequel to "Constantine" - but without the crazy-ass half-headed soldier demons (one outstanding character design) |

| I kept thinking the Constantine thing but didn't want to bring it up. |
