Things that worked in the past.
- Officers post articles about tech/games on the site.
- Weekly Officer's Challenge. Every club session you have one game about an hour into the meeting where it is the club vs the officers. Officers allowed to cheat by making up the rules to their favor. Club members are allowed to "cheat" by having support crew spy on officers during the game. You use the forum as a means to discuss what the rules will be.
- Bring back king of the net games. King of the Net received extra votes, a Burger King crown and coupons, and was made an honorary officer with none of the responsibilities. So KOTN played in the officer challenges as an officer. Track King of the Net via the forums. KOTN was just a calculation of the person with the highest rank in a select number of games for the quarter/semester. Officially ranked games were tracked by officers, players were allowed to challenge each other. |

| Increasing forum popularity means you need to get people to post. You get people to post by having something to reply to. In other words, what Bandit said -- a conscious effort to increase regular new topics on the forums. |

| I would suggest making the forum look better. It's quite...basic. I know it sounds like I'm a SMF rep, but SMF maintains simplicity with a nice look with a customizable interface. |

I found this site from the PC GAMERS signs on the billboards last year. Make some of those more appealing and yall should get more members. Also, posting signs around the Gaming room could help. |
