I'd like to have an organization picnic soon into the summer semester.
Dates could be 19 May (first Friday), 26 May (Friday before Memorial Day), or whenever.
Club could buy a few pizzas and drinks and members could bring other random food, standard picnic style stuff. (All of this would of course be eaten outside the lab...)
However, there are no chairs outside the lab and it's a small space and a bit sterile, so it's possible to have it somewhere else and at a different time.
Anyway, time and place don't matter.
The point is to get the members, the advisor, the admins, and any alumni that can make it together for a social event. That means you Roy, Paul, Mike, Bandit, T-BirD, Vector, Stick, X, Speed, etc.
Reply here (and vote for an option) and let's discuss interest and options for time and place. |

Well, there always is the Arboretum. I don't know what the regulation on using it for picnics is, though. And there's the clover field Laura took you to. There are a number of parks around town. And I know there are a number of picnic tables scattered randomly throughout campus. If worse came to worse, we could always have it up at Foy. Or Chewacla... is that how it's spelled? Too much like Chewbacca for me. |

I like the idea, but neither weekend works for me.
19 - Da Vinci Code comes out, and I can't ask off work
26 - another kuh-razy out of town venture. And, oddly enough, a planned one this time. |

I would but I can't from May 15th-31st. Work is going to be hell as we are doing a demonstration of what we have built for a bunch of military folks. So my weekends will probably be eaten.
I found a legendary discount card good for Auburn Students at Domino's. Not sure if they will still honor it but it was passed down 3 times that I know of before it got to me. I need to pass it on.
I don't check the forums much anymore. If you ever need to get ahold of me try here cary.pool@gmail.com |

Eh, I don't have a problem with either, but I do know Byron's likely not going to make this weekend. |
