I would like to get to play some games outside of the standard FPS and RTS: we have been ignoring a lot of good genres. In any case, my vote for games would try and represent each genre:
FPS: (maybe have one represent teams and another represent deathmatch?) either way, I like Call of Duty.
RTS: Rise of Nations
Sport: Madden: have a mini league and superbowl!
Sim: Combat Flight Sim 3 for awesome LAN dogfights
Arcade: Worms Armageddon.
Adventure: not sure how you could work this into a competition.
Classic: why not put Mime up, with a classic like Pac Man, Donkey Kong, or something, and whoever has the high score (obtained during a meeting) at the end of the semester gets the points. Say you walk into the club room early, or otherwise have 5 minutes to kill, have a game of pac man!
so, of course, the FPS and RTS would count for more than the others, but, still, represent all the fun types of games out there!
