I couldn't find another post for this, so i started one. I never knew Stick, but I think something to do as part of a memorial for him would be for someone to create a In Memory of Stick Poster for CS:S and email it to all AU Gamers. The design would be simple with a picture of stick and like a quote or something. Any other ideas are welcome for posting here.

I never met Stick, but from what I hear about him he doesn't seem like a CS:S type of person..... (as in counter-strike source)

There happened to be a wierd Megeman racing game that came with my prize from the last Tigerlan. I'll bring it next gamers meeting to see if we could use it, but seeing as how its for the gamecube, could someone please bring the proper cords for the projector? This happens to be one of those games that almost no one knows of and would make for a strange tournament.

People this is Stick we are talking about. The guy who wore a firemans jacket for his winter coat. CS:S mods are just a silly idea.

A tournament every tigerlan is the easiest idea, one of his favorite games/KOTN ideas. I like the thought of Bandit coming back to minesweeper in honor of the king.

Cdplaya, for future reference - Stick abhored consoles, about as bad as kurt.

I like the idea of a tournament at each Tiger Lan that is either, turn based, racing game, or just silly rules as the tournament. This tournament should be the 1st one, and thus the guy who wins, gets a Burger King crown and gets to be the King of the Lan for the day.

I'm not sure what the King of the Lan does other than symbolize the presence of Stick, but he should be able to do something special. All in fun though.

Mmmm...turn based racing game....

How did the BK sponsorship stop, anyway? Perhaps, now that BK is in the games business, they'd be willing to give a copy or 10 of their titles away as prizes?

i think a good ole "Stick" tourney at every TL is a good idea. hell i didnt know the guy but heard alot about him, moreover he was the founder, ya know? even a nice trophy(as well as the BK crown) should be made for the guy.

i mean its the least we can do...

on a more personal note;
R.I.P. Stick
Wish I had known you, and if a man can be judged by what friends he keeps, you were the man bro. my condolences to your family.

Ok, so we're gonna have a Stick Tourney with a Burger King crown. If we can make a poster to put up in the Lab every Friday, that'd be cool. Maybe with a phrase like: "In Stick we Trust". But I don't know. I don't think I ever met him. Older members, come up with something.

I like the idea of the "In Stick We Trust" T-shirt. We could easily combine it with 'Da Red Wunz Go Fasta' and then we're like the Boy Scouts -- motto AND slogan. w00t sticks.
