Global Agenda, the inaugural Spy-Fi MMO[FPS[RPG]] of Hi-Rez Studios is looking for alpha testers. If you're not familiar with Alpha testing, it's just like Beta testing, except the game is in even less of an unfinished state, you have more direct contact with the development team, and more of an impact on the final game.
You can jump in game anytime to test, but formal testing is on Wednesdays from 8-10 central. You don't have to make them all, but the more you make the better for the game.
This game is looking promising but we need more testers. They wanted me to invite club to be testers. They also want to get into contact with the current officers, which I'll be doing later.
But for now, join the alpha!
To Join the Alpha Test
Contact me (xero) saying you want to join. I will forward you the email with the NDA attached. It will have instructions on how to join the test group. You can use the website to contact me or call me, just make sure I have your email address.
The test group is by invite only. All of the AUCGC (members and alumni) have been invited.

Make sure you download the update later tonight. They'll probably send out an email notice, but forewarning that updates currently go out on Tuesday night. |

Does Steam auto-update if it is on? Or do I have to notify it that I want to do that? |

It will auto-update, provided Steam isn't bugging out. I've had issues twice with my update stalling. |

So. Is there any commitment with this? I can't make the formal testing this semester for sure, and probably not next semester either. |

Not really. It's a show up if you can thing, and usually you can get in alone and test, but there's nothing to test but a blank common area if you're alone. We're probably changing the formals from Wednesdays to twice a week. I think Tuesday and Thursday were the day, not sure on that though. I can forward you the invite if you want you can decide later. |

Quote:
Tests are now THURSDAY evenings from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time.
We may occasionally schedule "impromptu" tests outside of this window. Also--look for us to expand soon to have multiple scheduled play tests each week.
