I completely forgot about this, but it looks to be dropping Feb. 2:

Thread with everything you need to know:

It really is looking to turn out like SFC:Online, with a bit of lame away missions thrown in. In addition to having personal skills, your officers also level up and have their own skill trees you can tailor. It's looking to be pretty damned cool.

Also, it doesn't look like it in any of the videos, but Klingons (and their allies) will be the other playable side opposite the Federation.

Basically, the Klingons and Feds aren't getting along to well anymore (game takes place 30 years after Nemesis), so everybody is whippin' out their flying saucers and ominous fog machines to battle to the death.

Faction warfare has been confirmed, along with territory control, etc, etc. Maybe it'll be like SFC3 on steroids (and not crash all the time).

I think the Federation is bullshit, so I'm gonna make me a Klingon captain who will be known for having the thickest fog machines in the galaxy. Muahahahahahah Twisted Evil

Glad I'm not the only one who's been keeping his eyes on this. Now... to find a machine to play it on... kkk!

Im not a trekkie but I am curious to how it works out. Right now I have my eyes on Mortal Online - it looks like UO meets Daggerfall, but that could end up as a grindfest.
