Ive have an 1986 Amiga 1080 monitor which is just amazing for videogames. A problem comes from the Video RCA port, its kinda flakey. Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times it just kinda goes black. It could be a loose contact, but it is a computer monitor, so opening it could give me a nasty shock. Have any of yall ever experienced a problem like this before? Or do any of you feel confident enough to open up my baby and fix the problem without killing yourself or it in the process?

I use it quite a bit, and think I can manage, but if I could get it fixed that would rock. heres a pic for your curiosity:

Id rather not get a shock in the ball park of 20-30 thousand volts, so the fork idea is outta the question. Duct tape on the other hand...Electrical, duct, its all the same, right?
