Teh noes! DC is unbalanced still. Oh well, everybody can just have a "sm gg lol" fest. At least when the WA comp was on noone could bitch about unbalance (except termie spam, but if it comes to that in 1v1 you suck anyways) and I played IG on purpose just so that nobody could be like "zomg you are teh geigh picking the weakest side in the game zomg cheap!"
Although, I wouldn't know how to do a CoH tournament tbh. One person would be forced to play each side, which could be unfair.... |

I vote Warlords Battlecry III, temp heros at level 10...If I get 18 people to agree with me does that mean we can switch it to another game I cant win in, but will be able to build a massive wave of death with their blood curtling battlecry of "Buttercups and Rainbows."
5 magic damage and corpses are gold, whats not to love? |

But the heros do get grossly overpowered even at level 10.

At previous Tigerlan's Warcraft 3 drew a whopping five competitors. Red Alert 2, while one of my favorites, has never proven itself as a winner at Auburn. Other than Generals, no Westwood game really did during my time there.
I say this like I have a hand in Tigerlan anymore...its like T-bird saying hes going to come. |

And we'd quit playing the rest in Gamers by the time I showed up in 2003.
And here's a note about Starcraft...IT'S OLDER THAN GOD. LEARN A NEW GAME. I suggest Dawn of War, it's pretty good. Company of Heroes is pretty good too.
Might I also suggest looking into Dawn of War II? It's currently in production. |

Yeah... Why do people still play Starcraft?
There have been so many RTSs released that are much improved... yet starcraft still reigns as the most played RTS.
For the same reason people still play Everquest, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Diablo2, TA, NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, Dreamcast, GameCube, etc. Because it's what they have, what they already know, what they like, and what they're good at. (Obviously there's more to it than that, but I think that sums it up.) |
