I voted for Descent II. I don't know if Stick would play that.. but I sure as hell would.

Yeah. Descent II is underrated. I've considered making a 'modern' clone of it but just haven't gotten around to it Razz

Even though I completely suck at Descent II, I voted for it as the Stick game, because I know he would show up just to play that game.

We once had the gamers all play vs Stick in a free for all. The only one who killed him once was Gungho, Stick promptly focused on Gungho and killed him right out of the game.

I can't recall if I've played decent but I do remember playing the hell out of forsaken on n64. There was a level that was an open room with a huge sphere in the middle. The sphere had openings in the top, bottom, & sides. Each opening was a portal that lead to a different area in the map. I was new to portals and that whole map was the most intreging thing to me at the time.(oooh...it's like there is a whole world inside this sphere.)

Was freeSpace a decent game? I recall there being a decent game that wasn't titled decent.

Portals done right = Big fun
Jamie

Yes Freespace is related to decent. Decent is really a different type of game though. It's a 6DOF FPS basically. You fly around in cramped mines in a 'spaceship' shooting evil robots (or other players).

Auburn Computer Gamers Club were made the official website owners of BRR back when X and Stick were in the club. We may have other rights to the game, will need to track down X to find that out.

The old mailing list is still active, try a call out on that to see if he's still listening. Though I don't think DIE is moderating the list (read: deleting the 50+ spam messages a day) so if it's from a non-list account it may never make it out.

Several of the pre-Haley gamers have accounts on the website, but not always under their original handles. Try browsing the member list and see if anyone stands out.
