I voted Source. Why play something that looks worse when you can play a game that looks, erm, better.

I'm fine with playing 1.6 if people's systems can't handle source though.
(My family's 1.6ghz athlon and geforce 5200 runs it fine though)

I voted 1.6, just to spite everybody.

And I like to play worse looking versions of games if I think they're better games. Hence MvC 1 over MvC 2. 2 looks better, but 1 IS better. Graphics should have nothing to do with it.

Even though css looks better, the gameplay still isn't up to par with 1.6, which should be the major factor when looking at games for a tournament. Not to mention that you need a very high end computer to run css.

Very high end computer for CSS?

m'kay......

my computer is over 3 years old, and it runs CSS at full settings very smoothly... (now granted.. 3 years ago I had kick-ass hardware Razz)

I've always prefered CSS gameplay myself.

I played it once. I got a headshot from a shotgun at 300 feet. I quit playing immediately.

Yeah well, somehow I lost my 1.6 installation over a year ago and haven't been able to get it back (steam vehemently denies I ever had it in the first place and I'm not going to shell out 10 bucks to load it when the game was free in the first place, the cocksuckers) - so the vote goes for Source.

They do, Ive got 3 legit copies I can see right now (long story). Actually I could just let you use my default steam logon, since it has both 1.6 and Source on it. And since I wont be playing, no problem.
