If not, I am sure strangel is down for some tetris attack. Well that and I believe there may be some interesting things there...but enough from me until much later.

I can appreciate keeping TigerLAN up-to-date, but Super Smash Bros. is a prime game to have at gaming events, and due to the fact that TL13 is happening 2 months before SSB Brawl comes out, I would like to second or introduce the idea of reviving the game cube competition in order to support another SSB melee tournament.

Not gonna happen for the due to lack of time. But you can bring a Gamecube and play SSB with people that are interested.

TigerLAN is mainly about open play on the games you really want to play. The competitions are there to promote the newer games that people like but make up a small portion of the time (6-7 of 36 hours).

So please, come and play SSBM with everyone.

I'm all for bringing SSBM to play, but I would like to submit the consideration of adding SSBM to the Wii game poll as well. This way the people who come to TL13 can lobby for it if that is what they want to play. In my opinion, there aren't very many good multi player games out for Wii yet and this way there can still be glory found in playing a SSBM tournament while sticking with the gamer's club decision of not reviving a past system.

There are a ton of great multiplayer games for the Wii, just not in the traditional sense.. the pure party power of Wii Sports cannot be overestimated. =)

All I'm asking is that it be put on the poll and let the players decide. That's it.

I was unaware that Super Smash Bros. Melee worked on the Wii. If it does you are welcome to play it but I really would prefer not to change up the polls, especially since I messed up saying which halo on the 360 poll. Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii comes out in Dec 3 as well.

That defeats the purpose of "moving foward into the new console generation" if you ask me.

While I'd normally agree, if you give someone a choice between something they're comfortable with and the next generation of something, they'll usually take the comfort. We could also put Starcraft on the RTS vote, but we wouldn't be advancing the gaming community that way, just letting it play what it's been playing forever. While I love SSBM, it's just time to switch to something else for a competition. But like I said, that doesn't mean we can't still play it outside of competition.

I was considering running a Smash Brothers Tournement independantly of the official ones. Catch is there would be no prizes and you would have to deal with my unorthadox system Twisted Evil

By request, I will have one of my Dreamcast and a Saturn with me. And depending if I hit that Toysrus sale, I might have my Wii.
